I finally did it! I set a goal to weave a scarf with my very own handspun yarn, and I'm thrilled to share the journey with you. You see, I rarely get the chance to use my own yarn creations because I usually can't resist listing them in my Etsy store as soon as they're ready. But this time, I made an exception and dove into a creative adventure.
The star of this weaving project is a (corespun) yarn that I crafted from a vast array of fibers: wool, merino, mohair, alpaca, viscose, angelina, and wool locks. The result? A scarf that's wonderfully fluffy, sparkly, and just a tad Hagrid-y (any fellow Harry Potter fans out there?).
For this hand-spun art yarn scarf, I turned to my trusty 6-foot-long frame loom, a DIY creation I put together about a year ago. Initially, I wasn't entirely satisfied with what was on the loom, so I decided to start fresh. In one inspired night of weaving, I crafted this chunky scarf that I couldn't be happier with. Okay, full disclosure, I may have thrown out my back in the process, but trust me, the end result was worth it!

I'm so excited to share this creative journey with you, and I hope it inspires you to embark on your own crafting adventures. Stay tuned for more yarny delights and handmade wonders coming your way!
